OUR HISTORY
DESCHAMPS is an innovative company that develops and manufactures ground mobility equipment and high value-added textiles. We deal regularly with the most demanding partners and we commit to meet customers’ needs. Thanks to our status as a family-owned company, DESCHAMPS is able to allocate the necessary resources to accomplish the most ambitious challenges.
Since its creation, our company has continued to evolve and acquire unrivaled experience in the design and manufacturing of technical fabrics. In particular by developing temporary access roads, helicopter landing zones and inter-road paths to facilitate the mobility of people, vehicles and aircrafts on all types of soils, but also through the manufacture of filter clothes and conveyors for industrial filtration.
In the 1990's, Mr. Georges-Paul DESCHAMPS, the current president, invented a tridimensional technical fabric made of polyester monofilament : the Mobi-mat®. This product has quickly been patented over the world. The unique constitution of Mobi-mat® has made it possible to develop crossing strips and systems for improving the bearing capacity of the soil, which are used throughout the world by various armies.
