DESCHAMPS Beach Access Mats are recognized by the most demanding expeditionary units in the world as amphibious landing mats. Since 1994, they are used for every major ship-to-shore operations like natural disaster response or expatriate citizen evacuation.
Our amphibious landing mats are daily used by logistic-over-the-shore units all over the world. They assure vehicle mobility once they have reached the shore, whatever the ground is (sand, soil, gravel, mud, snow...) and whatever the vehicle load (truck, tank, crane...).
The amphibious roadway range offers different grade of temporary roadways adapted to the vehicle load: the MLC (Military Load Classification), the ground stability and the CBR (Californian Bearing Ratio).
